“My father was a proud Native American born in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma. Tragically, in 1979 at the age of 57 my father died of cancer. However, in 1978 I recorded his life story. He spoke of his childhood, his parents, his dreams, and even left advice for his grandchildren. Ten years later I listened to that recording for the first time and it brought tears to my eyes to hear his voice again.”
